WE DID IT!

Last month, I reported that Venus Zine was soliciting online votes to crown the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll for their fall issue.

The Fall 2010 issue, #44, is out now, and Joan was crowned Reader’s Pick on page 85! We helped Joan beat out Stevie Nicks, Debbie Harry, Patti Smith, Tina Turner, Gwen Stefani, Liz Phair, Courtney Love, and Kim Gordon.

Follow Venus Zine on Facebook and Twitter. I think it’s sold at major bookstore chains like Borders and Barnes and Noble, but I don’t know how widely it’s distributed. Check with your local stores and let me know where you find it!

While this title for Joan means a lot to us, Joan is probably just happy that they didn’t leave out the “Roll.” 😀
