Joan attended the debut of Cesar Galindo’s fall collection (Czar by Cesar Galindo) during New York Fashion Week on February 9.

Models Anna Robertson, Taylor Hilton, Kasey Costgrove, Marlee Menedez, Emily Matheny, Sarah Tierney, Shelby Bullard, Charlotte Stevens and Taylor May — along with around 12 New York-based models — showcased the collection of active sportswear made for the woman on the move in a new space, called The Hub, at the Hudson Hotel.

“Women have to live their lives and plan their days accordingly,” Galindo said. “It’s got to work for the office and a cocktail party.”

Some of the edgier looks got a nod of approval from rocker Joan Jett, who saw at least five pieces she coveted and ordered them on the spot. (Galindo has previously designed outfits for Jett’s concert tour.)

His response: “OK darling, whatever you want.”
