Joan Jett and the Blackhearts played at Sault Ste. Marie, MI on Saturday (10/21), and they debuted two brand new songs, “TMI,” and “Hard to Grow Up,” the first new Blackhearts songs we’ve heard in five years! They are still works-in-progress, according to Joan, but I’ll take them!!

Dude! This is so AWESOME! I can’t believe we FINALLY have new material! Yes, the drought is over. Not that I mind them playing any of the old songs, and I do enjoy hearing them at every show I go to, but I really did want new songs to love. Ah, Thommy’s kick is sick, as always. Ok, gonna listen to them again. Thanks for the post!

Those grainy videos are our’s, taken during the concert from about 8 rows back. Best we could do with what we had and where our seats were. Sorry the quality isn’t better, but at least the audio turned out well enough that you can hear the new songs. Trying to get them posted on the message boards as soon as I can, so we can get the word out to all the fans about the new music! 🙂
