“I Love Rock-N-Roll is #17 on Gibson.com’s list of the 50 greatest songs of the 1980s, as chosen by its writers and editors. They also conducted a Readers’ Poll, but ILRNR didn’t make that list. Read both lists HERE.
I used to get excited by things like this, but, like many of you, I’m always upset that the media doesn’t represent Joan Jett’s body of work adequately. Jettheads all know that her best songs never get included on any of these lists.
So screw the magazine editors, I want to know what YOU think. Is “I Love Rock-N-Roll” really the greatest Joan Jett song of all time? You can vote as many times as you like, and I will feature EVERY song that gets a vote in a future post. Your voice counts!

I have to agree, Joan NEVER gets the credit she deserves. SO many people just say “she never does her own stuff.” UH, I am quick to set them straight as all of us dedicated fans do. She is such a complex being & her songs tell it. People that don’t realize this & talk smack don’t deserve her talent anyway!!!!!
