Box Office Mojo is reporting that The Runaways has earned an estimated $803,000 as of March 21st. Overall, they are in 18th place for the weekend. These are only estimates. Actual numbers will be reported on Monday afternoon.

At 244 screens, this gives The Runaways a per-screen average of $3,291.

  1. THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie myself…NO SPOILER HERE….I thought it was a beautiful look into the girls’ experience at that time…touching…sweet…sometimes sad..sometimes hard…Joan is definately right…it is not a biopic…it is certainly a coming of age story. Not anything remotely close to the Edgeplay kind of thing…it’s a story…a story that I would have liked to see more of and I will see it again…ok, I guess I will stop gushing for now 😉
