Joan Jett and the Blackhearts announced today via MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter, that, when The Blackhearts perform on The Tonight Show on Tuesday, March 9, Joan will also get to talk with Jay:
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will be performing on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC on Tuesday, March 9th. Joan Jett will also sit down with Jay. Check your local listings for times.
This will be awesome. I hope Jay does at least one segment with her and its not just a quick hello after the performance. The last time Joan got to TALK on a late-night talk show was Craig Ferguson in 2006, when she was promoting her Sinner cd. Joan also did Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2006, but she only performed on those shows and was not interviewed.
Please do more of these, Joanie! We love to hear you talk. Hey, maybe you can go on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and toss a football with him like Kristen Stewart did last November. Or, you could always play “Wheel of Carpet Samples”. 🙂
